Take It to Goodwill

Since we donate all of our old usable clothes to Goodwill, I was pleased to read this news from Advertising Age about Levi’s promoting Goodwill Industries:

Outside Magazine Saves 1500 Trees

By eliminating subscription cards in their copies to subscribers, Outside magazine says it will save 1500 trees in this Advertising Age article.
I never understood why magazines put them in subscription copies, since the magazines I subscribe to send me hundreds (or so it seems) of renewal notices.
