I appreciate whoever scooped up after their dog, but please don’t leave the bag behind.
I know how embarrassing it is to walk around the neighborhood and to carry the poop bag.
I’ve done it many times. At least, the neighbors appreciate your effort.

You Bagged It Now Take It Home
Thanks to the dog owners who bagged their pet’s poop. But why did you not carry it home with you? Yes, I know from personal experience that it is humiliating to be walking through the neighborhood and carrying a bag of dog poop. I have had this experience many times. As Jerry Seinfeld once remarked, “Who is the master? The one carrying the bag?”
Since the bag is on the trail, it is litter.
And Now It's Back to Trash
After we had walked Radnor Lake and Ganier Ridge, we hit the road heading back to the parking lot. Unfortunately, we found this grocery bag along the side of the road by the lake. We assumed that someone bagged their dog’s poop and left the bag there for someone else to carry back to the trash can in the parking lot and ranger’s station.
The ranger once told us that folks do that all the time. They bag the poop as they are supposed to do but leave it by the roadside.
Personally, I rather just see a big pile of dog poop than see a plastic bag of dog poop. As [...]
